چکیده
This study presents an approach for estimating fuel boil-off behaviour in cryogenic energy carrier ships, such as future liquid hydrogen (LH2) carriers. By relying on thermodynamic modelling and empirical formulas ship motion propulsion, the can be used to investigate a function of tank properties, weather conditions, operating velocities during laden voyage. The model is first calibrated against data from liquefied natural gas (LNG) consequently various design configurations LH2 ship. Results indicate that with same volume glass wool insulation thickness conventional LNG stores 40% characterised by rate nine times higher twice sensitive sloshing. Adding reliquefaction unit reduce depletion at least 38.7% but increase its variability regarding velocity conditions. In calm weather, rates only meet standards utilising 6.6 thickness. adopting cell propulsion ship, 1.1% delivery expected. An cells required 1.7 larger than existing deliver energy. Further comparison alternative scenarios indicates carriers necessitate significant redesigns if are desired. present assist feasibility studies featuring other vessels technologies, seen extendable framework predict real-time.

Analytical Dynamic Modelling of Heel-off and Toe-off Motions for a 2D Humanoid Robot
The main objective of this article is to optimize the walking pattern of a 2D humanoid robot with heel-off and toe-off motions in order to minimize the energy consumption and maximize the stability margin. To this end, at first, a gait planning method is introduced based on the ankle and hip joint position trajectories. Then, using these trajectories and the inverse kinematics, the position tra...
متن کاملAnalysis of Roll Control System to Eliminate Liquid Sloshing Effect on Lateral Stability of an Articulated Vehicle Carrying Liquid
In this paper, the consequences of filled volume on the transient lateral dynamic and stabilities boundaries displacement of an articulated vehicle carrying liquid is investigated. First, a sixteen-degrees-of-freedom nonlinear dynamic model of an articulated vehicle is developed then, using TruckSim software the model is validated. Next, the dynamic interaction of the fluid cargo with the vehic...
متن کاملDamping of liquid sloshing by foams: from everyday observations to liquid transport
We perform experiments on the sloshing dynamics of liquids in a rectangular container submitted to an impulse. We show that when foam is placed on top of the liquid the oscillations of the free interface are significantly damped. The ability to reduce sloshing and associated splashing could find applications in numerous industrial processes involving liquid transport. When a container is set in...
